Bessette Australia

With a vision to make luxury accessible to the everyday girl and some serious credentials in International bridal haute couture, it was never going to be long before Monica went out on her own.

When working in Bridal stores in Brisbane and Melbourne, she always asked the Mother of the Bride about her own bridal shopping experience. She quickly picked up on a trend that was popular in the 80s, where brides would hire their wedding dress instead of purchasing.

This inspired Monica to create a new take on this concept for the Bridal industry. Connecting the modern bride with luxury bridal fashion (all for hire) and revolutionising the way you shop for a wedding dress.

Ivy and Bleu

As the creative and passionate force behind Ivy & Bleu, Mandi has had a passion for the events industry since she could talk.

With an extensive customer service background, her ability to make every bride and groom feel comfortable and at home allows her to discover their wildest dreams and ideas.

As a qualified florist, Mandi was recently featured in Cosmopolitan Brides’ April 2018 edition as an ‘Expert Vendor’.

Ivy & Bleu reflects Mandi’s love of every aspect of a wedding – from sowing the seeds in the planning stages, creating & putting together the overall styling of your day to ensuring the blooms in your hands, hair & on your table are just as divine as you are!

Josh Withers

Josh’s step into the wedding indusry came via the unlikeliest of journeys.

His parents are seemingly addicted to weddings – they’ve had so many. So growing up in that atmosphere almost made Josh allergic to marriage. He figured that if he never got married then he would never get divorced. Simultaneously, Josh figured out the secret to a long happy life.

Since then Josh studied to become a minister and has been working in commercial breakfast radio on the Hit Network as a pretty good communicator.

The turning point was seeing a civil celebrant at a family wedding produce a really bad wedding ceremony. It was then that Josh decided he wanted to be a part of wedding ceremonies that matter, ceremonies that are real, true, and enjoyable.

Ten years on and you can meet Josh in person at One Fine Day Brisbane to chat about your wedding.

Olive Letterpress

As the morning mist lifts in the hinterland of Northern NSW, you can often hear a little hum in the distance. Up on a hill, in a hidden valley west of Murwillumbah, there is a big black vintage press turning and a handsome old guillotine slicing.

This is the Olive Letterpress creative hive and home to Jo & Andy Olive. Both are artists and makers who have built their own world of letterpress and design out there in the wilderness.

Jo and Andy have been working with people all over the world for around 8 years and it’s only recently that their journey into printing and designing for weddings began. And it’s fair to say they are loving it. For them it’s an utterly satisfying and heart warming thing to work with awesome people who are floating with love and dreams and happiness – you can’t help but be swept along with it.

The solar powered studio of Olive Letterpress is housed in three gusty little converted shipping containers surrounded by an array of wildlife, mountains and creeks. Of course, living where Jo and Andy do, it’s no secret that nature is a huge inspiration and feeds directly into their print sensibility.

The new Olive Letterpress wedding collection will be unveiled at One Fine Day Brisbane. It will celebrate all these good things transformed into luxury paper goods with a contemporary aesthetic. So do yourselves a favour and check in on the amazing pieces that Jo and Andy will take to Brisbane.
